World AIDS Day at Bon Children’s Home

On World AIDS Day (December 1), the Bon Children’s Home school hosted an educational function, in collaboration with the Tibetan settlement at Dolanji. The staff nurse of the Tibetan settlement gave an AIDS awareness talk to the children, followed by an awareness talk presented by the Settlement officer and the head of the school. The talks were followed by a quiz competition on the topic of AIDS, and children with the correct answers won prizes.

The BCH and the Tibetan settlement at Dolanji realize the worldwide impact of AIDS, and organized this event for the health and well-being of the BCH children.
