BCH 28th Anniversary
On July 1, 2016, the Bon Children’s Home celebrated its 28th Anniversary. The event was held on the playground of the BCH in Dolanji.
The program began with the BCH Accountant, Mr. Tsering Dorjee, and the BCH children welcoming the guest of honor, Mr. Lhoden Nyima, the Settlement Officer of Dolanji, and other guests. The Secretary of BCH, Mr. Phuntsok Dhargyal, gave the welcome speech and presented the annual report of Bon Children’s Home. Then the children of the BCH presented several cultural programs, including a Tibetan group dance and group song presented by the senior and junior children; an Indian group dance by the senior girls; as well as a Nepali group dance and Nepali duet song.
Lunch was served for all the children and guests. After lunch, a soccer football match was organized between the young monks of the Bon Children’s Welfare Center and the students of the BCH.
Mr. Dargyal extends best wishes to the hard-working BCH staff, and all the children of BCH, and sends thanks and good wishes to all supporters and sponsors of the BCH for the love and support they have provided throughout the year to the BCH.
