BCH Three-Day Winter Prayer

Bon Children’s Home Three-Day Winter Prayer Ceremony

On Tuesday, January 26, the BCH students begin a three-day winter prayer.  The winter prayer is tantric in nature, and is done for the benefit of all sentient beings.  The students pray as well for the benefit of the BCH children, staff, sponsors, supporters, and all the people who are connected with BCH directly and indirectly, and to bring good fortune and good health throughout the year to all.

This winter prayer is one of the ceremonies that lead up to Lhosar (Tibetan New Year), which is February 9th this year.
